Playa Real de Zaragoza

Undoubtedly one of the best beaches.
It is one of the largest beach in the area and is located just 13km from the center of Marbella. Because the beach is both long and is set back from the center of Marbella makes it relatively easy to find a quiet place even during the high season. Real de Zaragoza beach is 1700 meters long and 30 meters wide, the sand is fine and golden. The beach adjoins some of Marbella’s most exclusive and well-known beach clubs, such as Nikki Beach and Don Carlos Beach Club.

Cabopino

Is very well maintained, has wonderful crystal clear water and long sand beaches. There are many different facilities and during the summer months there are lifeguards. The beach is 1500 meters long and 25 meters wide with fine, golden sand. The water is calm and shallow making it ideal for children

Playa Fontanilla

Fontnilla is Marbella’s city central beach and is located within a short distance from the center of Marbella. The beach is a favorite among all people living in Marbella and vacationers. Out of all the city’s beaches it is the most popular and therefore can be a little crowded space during the summer months.

Playa de Nueva Andalucia

The beach stretches west from Puerto Banus exclusive marina, and is approximately 1000 meters long and 30 meters wide. The beach area is made up of a number of small bays with dark and coarse sand. Along the beach, it is a pleasant promenade from Puerto Banus to Nueva Andalucia. There is a definitely awsome with many nice restaurants and bars.

At Marbella’s many beach clubs, you can spend all day lying on a sunbed with a cocktail followed by an evening of sumptuous food and finally dance into the wee hours at some of the best parties on the Costa del Sol. Although there are many beach bars (chringuigtos) along the beaches of Andalusia, a beach club is something more.

A beach club typically has a swimming pool but is usually located on or next to a beach with sunbeds so guests can enjoy the best of both worlds. Although they are called “clubs”, you can not be a member of a beach club. For some beach clubs is an entry fee, but for others, you need to reserve a sunbed. Beach Clubs will usually charge a fee per sunbed, but that includes towel and water. Usually there is a restaurant.

Marbella town

In the center you will find some of Marbella’s tourist attractions – the famous Marbella boardwalk – Paseo Maritimo stretching along six kilometers along the coast and offers a spectacular view of the coast. Old Town – Casco Antiguo

The most enchanting place in Marbella is the whitewashed old core Casco Antiguo with a maze of narrow streets. There you walk around in the cozy narrow streets with small squares here and there. The houses are whitewashed and well preserved with street names and house numbers on colorful tiles. The meeting point is the Plaza de los Naranjos (Orange Square) with its bustling plaza, fragrant orange trees and remarkable Castilian Renaissance architecture. In the evening the beautiful square is brought to life with lively outdoor cafes and all sorts of colorful performers who entertain the audience with its passionate flamenco music and dance.

Nearby, you will find the church of Santa Maria where there is a modern organ of 1972 consisting of 5,000 copper and wooden pipes. Here you will find some fancy stores

Alameda park is a symbol of Marbella and a much loved place of its citizens where they gather to talk while enjoying the shade. It is quite common to find organized events and markets, as it is one of the most active places in the city.

Local buses in Marbella is called Urbanos Local bus, No. 1, runs between Marbella from the main street and Puerto Banus and stop at the square above the marina


Puerto Banus

Puerto Banus “Puerto Jose Banus’ is a marina located in Nueva Andalucia, southwest of Marbella. Puerto Banus was one of Spain’s first” village-like “port complex. This has become one of the largest entertainment districts at Costa del Sol and very popular among celebrities. Here you will find expensive shopping malls, restaurants and bars. Whitewashed houses lines the marina, and you can watch numerous luxury cars and boats when you visit Puerto Banus in the summer months. The private boats are larger than hotels, and in front it is usually a Porsche or some other luxurious car.

Puerto Banus is visited annually by 5 million people. Along the harbor it is full of people, and this is where you should go if you’re looking for a party and the best nightlife. Golf in Marbella

Ralli museum

Ralli museum in Marbella is a nonprofit organization that works to works by American and European artists. In 10 rooms, you can admire the paintings of contemporary and surrealist artists, almost all Latin American countries. Here you will find among other works of greats like Miro, Chagall and Gentilini and sculptures by Salvador Dali, as well as sculptures by Mexican artists of natural size. There are 5 Ralli museums and all have free admission.

Hiking trails

Caminito del Rey, “The King’s little walkway” in the southern Spanish El Chorro gorge was long known as the world’s most dangerous footpath and was closed in 2011 when too many people have died in their attempts to walk the entire trail.

After complete renovation in 2014 the trail har transformed the ranks from one of the world’s most dangerous to the world’s safest trail. A protective fence of steel wires have been built along the entire trail. The trek is a breathtaking beauty experience and has been named “Best new attraction” in southern Spaninen.
